This compound comprises unsaturated polyester resin, glass fiber, filler, mold release agent, and catalyst, created through a hot press molding technique. On-site assembly incorporates steel stiffeners and bolts, allowing for customizable sizing and capacity without constraints.
The foam sealant at the joint part of the panels ensures perfect watertight performance for this bolted-type water tank. All components, including the GRP panels comprising the tank, possess sanitary and durable properties compliant with the Food Sanitation Act. “NEERCO” GRP/SMC tanks are suitable for storing drinking water.
